Knight was eligible for an extension of his rookie contract this offseason, but was unable to reach a deal to stay in Milwaukee before the Oct. 31 deadline. That means he will enter next summer as a restricted free agent, joining a crowded group of point guards scheduled to hit the market. But league executives don’t expect Knight to go very far. Certainly, if Knight has his way, he will sign the kind of contract he was looking for this summer from the Bucks, and keep himself in Milwaukee....
