The Center has not been receiving the amount of playing time he would have liked this season and with the Bucks leading the association with a 35-13 record, there is no chance that they would change their lineups.
According to a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski:
The frontcourt depth is not an issue for the Bucks and this is also the reason why Maker has fallen out of rotation. He is eligible to negotiate to a rookie extension contract with the franchise this offseason.
It will be interesting to see if the franchise trades him to some team that will help him find more on-game time. If the Bucks do not trade him before the trade deadline, Maker will have to wait till the end of the season.
The Center’s best game this season came against the Utah Jazz where he scored 15 points in 18 minutes of action and helped the team get the win. Maker has not gotten any playing time in the Bucks’ last five games.
